We are small alpaca farm in the heart of Central Texas! We are a military family stationed at Fort Hood. Our farm is dedicated to helping those affected by childhood cancer. Proceeds from farm sells benefit families fighting to save their child!
In June of 2016 our 13 year old son was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing Sarcoma. We, as a family, battled this disease for a year at MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital in Houston. During this time, we were surrounded by families needing a little extra assistance while out of work or while receiving care far from home!
Funding for childhood cancer is very low. Our children only receive 4% of funding from the National Cancer Institute to fund research for all types of childhood cancer. That's right, only 4%! Our kids deserve better. 1 in 285 will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer, and we can do more to increase the survival rate and to help families navigate this surreal journey.
